The Women’s Risk & Needs Assessment (WRNA) is a comprehensive gender-responsive risk, needs and strengths assessment designed specifically to be used with criminal justice-involved women.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the further development of a study following the validation of the WRNA with criminal justice involved women in England for the first time.
This project is designed to improve current understanding of the needs and strengths of justice-involved women (and later women who are not justice-involved) and to consolidate the evidence base for the effectiveness of women’s centres.
As WRNA project manager you will lead and drive forward the planned implementation of the Women’s Risk Needs Assessment tool across our Women’s Centres as part of the JABBS-funded project ‘Trauma, Social Harm and Health in Criminal Justice Involved Women: The effectiveness of Women Centres.
This is an exciting and challenging role for a woman focused individual who is passionate about driving improvement by embedding the WRNA into our operational delivery and outcomes monitoring with the aim of improving the experience of women accessing Women Centred services at various points of the CJS. You will travel across our Women’s Centres with the option for your main base to be in Gloucestershire, Swindon, Bristol or Somerset.

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
