Social Care Assistant
Job title: Personal Assistant
Hours: 1 hour per week Term time
4.25 hours per week Holiday time

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to work with my 10 -year-old Daughter. She is a friendly girl who is very active and loves being outside. She likes to play on the trampoline, going to the park, playing on the swings, being pushed in her buggy, playing with her pram and dolls, she loves soft play, and listening to music.
The main part of this role is to support and supervise my daughter when she wants to access the local community, as well as social interaction at home. She is Autistic and epileptic so experience of autism and epilepsy would be preferred.
A very important part of your role will be to ensure her safety. She has no awareness of danger, so you must take extra care when you are out in the community. My daughter also has emergency medication for seizures that last longer than 5 minutes or for a cluster of seizures within a 15-minute period. Anyone working with her will require training in relation to her seizures.
My daughter likes to be around happy enthusiastic people so you should be confident and outgoing.
As the Personal Assistant you will work mainly alongside me and under my direction to meet my daughter’s needs.
