General Job Description
- Assisting with the preparation and research for written technical deliverables (proposals, meeting minutes, and updating technical reports), as well as curating, reviewing, proofreading, and formatting correspondence, proposals, reports, emails, internal memos, presentations, and other deliverables.
- Supporting and coordinating activities across all levels of the organization, including monthly meetings, project coordination, business materials, and yearly business planning.
- Coordinating communication and interfacing with clients to ensure smooth progression of projects.
- Working closely with senior personnel regarding oversight of projects within the technical area. This includes reviewing project status to ensure that invoicing and collection occur in a timely manner, and that write-offs and fixed price adjustments are reconciled at the completion of each client project as well as handling routine client reports.
- Assist with compiling current industry events for specific industry areas.
- Managing and entering data into MPR’s in-house opportunity and project management database (MAPS).
- Interfacing with MPR’s in-house electronic document management system (EDMS).
- Assisting with internal and external verbal and written communications.
- Assisting with coordination of business development and marketing materials.
- Providing occasional reception/switchboard coverage by answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, directing calls to the appropriate person, responding to conference room requests and requests for information.
- Basic administrative functions to include: photocopying, scanning documents, shipping, maintaining schedules, coordinating travel, preparing expense reports, and other duties as assigned.
- College degree or experience in a professional services environment preferred.
- Experience in a consulting company environment or similar fast-paced environment is a plus.
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Skills - Software
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Outlook).
- Basic proficiency in Visio preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Professional or similar PDF software.
- Basic proficiency in Photoshop or similar image manipulation program.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability and motivation to identify areas where they can be of assistance and where process improvements can be made.
- Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and written) in a courteous and professional manner.

- Solid proofreading skills.
