We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Technology Project Manager to join our client to oversee and manage technology projects across the UK and EU.
As the Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible for guiding the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and successful completion of specific projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy, adherence to statutory regulations, and meeting client expectations with a focus on achieving all commitments and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Take full ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of allocated technology projects
Define project tasks, resource requirements, and meticulously plan and schedule project timelines. Continuously track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Collaborate closely with the technology sales and design teams to develop comprehensive project plans and designs
Utilise suitable project management tools such as Gantt charts, Kanban, RAID logs, and budget tracking to efficiently manage and control project work
Coordinate and assemble project staff, ensuring installation and commissioning activities are carried out systematically, following the company’s established procedures. Act as the central point of contact for all matters related to design and development
Prioritise and uphold Health & Safety standards across projects, providing regular reporting, conducting toolbox talks, and participating in client Health & Safety site meetings
Manage daily project resource allocation, ensuring steady progress and attendance
Conduct quality audits for the projects under your management
Skills/ Experience:
Qualification in project management or equivalent field, along with experience in managing technology projects
Proficient knowledge of specified products, systems, and a good understanding of emerging technologies, technical, and regulatory standards
Strong grasp of theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated skills in planning, organising, and monitoring work within tight timeframes and pressurised environments
Business acumen with budget planning and administration capabilities
Proactive decision-making and initiative-taking, with a keen eye for detail
Effective verbal and written communication, conflict management, customer-facing, and presentation skills
