Job description

Our reputable client who are a pioneer in designing and manufacturing revolutionary green energy systems, is looking at recruiting a Junior Quality Engineer. They are an employer who are listed on the London Stock exchange, therefore are globally renowned for the services they provide.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the Quality strategy, policies, and processes.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of the Business Management System (IBMS).
  • Conduct internal and external Quality Systems audits.
  • Provide training on Quality issues and business processes.
  • Maintain and improve documentation and quality control processes.
  • Analyse procedural needs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and technical leads to achieve project goals.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve problems.

About You:

  • Engineering and/or Quality qualification required (HND/Degree or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), PPAP, FMEA, ISO9000, and problem-solving tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to shifting priorities.

Duties:

- Analyze product specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify defects and non-conformities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
- Familiarity with project management concepts and techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
