Salary: £39,748 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).
Hours: Full time
Contract Type: Open Ended.
Location: Polaris House, Swindon, Wiltshire.

In this key role you will support and lead elements of the apprenticeship schemes across UKRI. We currently have 50 apprentices across UKRI and have ambitious plans to increase our early talent pipelines.
You will provide support, advice and guidance to managers and apprentices and lead a range of projects to deliver and develop the current apprenticeship scheme which will involve engagement with managers and apprentices across UKRI, as well as external stakeholders.
You will act as an ambassador for UKRI’s apprenticeship programme, internally and externally, ensuring that UKRI continues to have a strong public profile for apprenticeships.

Commitment
The Apprenticeship Team is currently working in a hybrid environment with a minimum of 2-3 days per week on site. This role will require occasional travel within the UK to other UKRI sites, and occasional unsocial hours to engage with schools/training providers/parents/young people and participation in Apprenticeship Team activities.
