WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Junior Project Manager and consultant, you will have the opportunity to share your own unique experience, knowledge, and ideas with a variety of teams and projects. Whether you're working internally or with our end clients, you'll have the chance to make a real impact and drive success. In this role, you'll have the responsibility of managing day-to-day project tasks while gaining valuable experience in various management instances. You'll have the support of our experienced Project Managers at dig-x, ensuring you have all the tools you need to succeed.

  • Plan, organise, coordinate, and support the project team to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Take appropriate action when team performance deviates from the expected standards
  • Support the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to implementation and evaluation
  • Liaise with and provide support to other project managers, engineers, and delivery team members
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Work in a busy and fluid working environment to best meet project requirements
  • Responsible for strategic resource planning to meet work volumes and ensure the team meets project commitments

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Essential Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workload accordingly

  • Knowledge of project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
  • An understanding of Agile project management methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • A basic understanding of project management frameworks, such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
  • Bachelor's degree
