Job description
My client is a global leader in the Healthcare industry and are looking for a Senior Oracle HCM Project Manager to join and assist with their global HR transformation project implementing Oracle HCM. The first country’s deployment is at UAT stage and they need an additional Senior Project Manager to meet their ambitious deadlines as they deploy globally. This role will report directly to the Program Director.
This role is being offered on a 12/18 month FTC with a good chance to extend and a salary of £90k - £125k for the right person. The client are flexible on location within Europe and the work will be mostly remote aside from travel once a month on average to Geneva for meetings and workshops. Roughly B2+/Business level English and a passport/visa allowing free travel around Europe are required for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project status and risk logs, provide accurate reporting to project sponsors, manage project budget definition and control.
- Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for HCM system deployments.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive deployment strategy for Oracle Cloud HCM systems, considering organizational goals, user requirements, and best practices. Ensure alignment with HR and business strategies.
- Oversee relationships with HCM system vendors, coordinating activities such as requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation. Serve as the main point of contact for vendor interactions and issue resolution.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, managers, and end-users, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure their participation throughout the deployment process.
- Develop change management plans to drive user adoption and minimize resistance to change. Create training programs, materials, and documentation to support the implementation and use of HCM systems. Conduct training sessions for HR and end-users.
- Collaborate with data management teams to ensure smooth and accurate migration of HR data from legacy systems to the new HCM platform. Validate data integrity and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Define test strategies, conduct system testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality, data integrity, and performance. Identify and address any issues or bugs that arise during testing.
- Ensure HCM system compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA. Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement appropriate security measures and protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and workflows. Generate reports and analytics to track key performance indicators, system usage, and project milestones.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Senior Project Management role working within a global/international scale business to deploy Oracle HCM end to end whilst working with cross functional teams
- Some product knowledge and hands on experience with the Core HR, Absence Management, Talent and Performance Management, Compensation, Recruitment and Learning modules
- Must have very strong stakeholder management skills, especially for managing and controlling external vendors
