We have a fantastic opportunity for In-Store Warehouse Pickers at our Cardiff store on a part-time basis in our Order Picker and Click & Collect functions.
These contract sizes on offer will be 18 hours or 24 hours a week.
Scheduled closing date: 23 May 2023.
Planned interview dates: 25 May 2023 (08:00am - 10:00am).
Planned starting date: 04 June 2023.
WHAT WE OFFER

- These contract sizes on offer will be 18 hours or 24 hours a week.
- Working times will be between 06:00am at the earliest and 20:30pm at the latest.
- This role will require weekend work, which will be 3 out of 4 weekends, as well as availability to work roughly two days/evenings during the week.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
You enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding role where you will support in creating the wonderful everyday for our customers by collecting IKEA products and furniture packages across the store. This is a role where you will definitely be getting your daily steps in!
You will have indirect contact with customers in this role, and so it is important that you enjoy and have a customer-centric mindset. You will also have great attention to detail when collecting customer orders, and a can-do attitude.
For this role, experience in any retail setting would be ideal.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
- You will be picking and preparing IKEA products and flatpack packages through the store, and regular manual handling is a big part of this role.
- You will use your attention to detail when order picking to check order accuracy and prepare orders for delivery.
- You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking, so good customer service is important!
