ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER - MATERNITY COVER - WITH ROOM FOR SCOPE!
The role is suitable for a staff member, with strong all-around accounts experience, particularly in day-to-day book-keeping tasks, including management of all (and some receivable processes), and ledger experience (ideally through QuickBooks Online).
This is a faced paced role that would suit an individual with a strong accounts background, ready to hit the ground running.
DUTIES WITHIN THE ROLE BUT NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:
- Processing speaker payments/ requests
- Process and check monthly commission statements
- Corresponding with speakers on invoice issues and queries
- Verbally verifying bank details (Fraud prevention)
- Monthly employee expense processing
- Managing and preparing weekly pay runs for the Senior Finance Manager
- Monthly Credit Card Reconciliations
- Monthly Aged Debtor/ Creditor Reconciliations
- Managing and monitoring three busy email accounts
- Ensure accurate, efficient and compliant record-keeping
- Reconciling trial balance items
- Accruals and prepayments
- Support the Finance Director with system development and compilation of monthly management accounts, annual accounts and other ad-hoc reports
SKILLS & COMPETENCY:
- Strong bookkeeping skills with at least three to five year’s worth of experience
- The ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be confident to work independently and have strong initiative skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and presentation skills

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
