AW Construction are a Folkestone based construction company, undertaking a broad range of commercial projects throughout the UK. We have recently moved into new, purpose built offices and are looking for an individual to join the team and support the growth of our ever expanding business.
Applicants must have significant experience of working as a project manager or contracts manager in the commercial sector.
The successful candidate would be based primarily at our offices in Folkestone, but could work remotely occasionally. Regular site surveys would be needed and associated travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Survey new projects and undertake basic costing/estimating
- Manage the operational elements of the project – Good planning, efficient delivery, through to project completion
- Manage the health and safety requirements of the contract
- Manage basic commercial elements of the contract - Tracking variations etc
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in this role
- Broad knowledge of construction
- Commercially aware
- Excellent team leader skills and a professional nature
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good level of Maths, English and IT
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
