Job Description


THE ROLE

The role of the Project manager will have a wide remit. The individual concerned will be responsible for managing and delivering on time and in full any Capital Expenditure project in any of our locations. Works may range from small refreshes to large fit out works.

You will be…

  • Managing project budgets and taking ownership of financial reporting including any additional spend or changes.
  • Engage and manage all stakeholders and suppliers throughout project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Space operation managers and maintenance teams to ensure each project is smoothly transitioned into BAU.
  • Support Head of Property projects in pulling together proposals for CAF and board approvals.
  • Work with the procurement team and third parties on ensuring best value for any capex project.
  • Liaise with legal on project contracts and professional appointments to ensure that Asos is effectively managing all type of risk as well as managing critical CDM compliances.
  • Work closely with Senior property manager and relevant office landlords to ensure LTA processes are manged effectively.
  • Preparing reports for use by the Property, Projects and Space teams to aid decision making including active RAID logs.
  • Managing SharePoint sites, uploading documents and ensuring space governance is maintained.
  • Work closely with Health & Safety and Governance teams to ensure each project is undertaken in a safe and compliant manor
  • Put in place best in class processes and work instructions, in the Asos way, driving professionalism, in relation to project management.

Qualifications

  • Excellent construction knowledge and expertise
  • Proven project management experience
  • A Track record of forming and managing effective Stakeholder and Supplier relationships
  • Ability to deliver tangible results whilst working in a high pressure and ever-changing environment
  • Strong ability to prioritise and focus on deliverables
  • To be able to engage and negotiate on multiple levels within ASOS to manage expectations and demands
  • Good technical understanding of M&E and maintenance obligations
  • Have experience working with construction contracts
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence decisions at all levels and command respect from all areas of the business.
  • The ability to assert expertise and achieve objectives diplomatically.
  • The ability to combine a strategic outlook with a hands-on attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Professional with a strong service driven mentality and a pragmatic approach
