Job description
Do you know your Tiks from your Toks? Your Face from your Books? Do you think that this format of asking questions at the start of a job ad is getting tedious and that there are surely better ways of capturing people’s attention? But seriously, do you know your Insta from your Grams?
We only ask because we’re in need of a Content Producer and apparently Tik Tok is kind of a big deal. But don’t worry, there will be more to this job than making Face Snaps, or whatever. At least we bloody hope there will be.
We’re Bloody Marketing!!, a full-service marketing agency in Nottingham. We’re pretty good at marketing, but to be perfectly honest the world of short-form virus content is a world we don’t fully understand. Wait, virus content? That doesn’t sound right…
See what we mean?
That’s why we need you - yes, you! - to help us out with your content creation expertise. You’ll be responsible for making us and our clients look cool (how hard can it be?*) through various forms of content, primarily video.

Key responsibilities:
- Create engaging content highlighting clients' unique aspects and stories.
- Collaborate with clients for aligned content, conducting insightful interviews.

- Actively engage with online communities, share content in relevant groups, and initiate interactions to foster growth and reach.
- Monitor social media analytics and engagement metrics, adapting strategies to optimise performance and increase audience reach.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in content creation and social media marketing.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategies with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Continuously explore innovative content formats and techniques to improve the quality and effectiveness of content production.

Psych! Ok, Qualifications and Skills for real:
- Proven experience in content creation, particularly in video production and social media management.
- Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interview clients and staff to extract engaging narratives.
- A creative mindset with a journalistic knack for finding compelling stories and angles that resonate with target audiences.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective best practices for content sharing and engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively and seamlessly with clients, and team members.
- A friendly, presentable, and approachable demeanour, ensuring client comfort.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and content schedules effectively.
- Openness to experimentation and a proactive attitude towards adapting to new trends and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies to align content with broader business objectives.
Anything else to know?
- A lot of the time, you'll be out and about, but this is a hybrid position; generally it’ll be 3 days in the office, 2 days at home (unless you're not out and about'in)
- Salary is £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
- 28 holidays per annum.
- Easy going, hard working, friendly team.
- There are exactly 5 guitars in the office, and yet not a single competent guitar player.
- Bacon fries.
- On-site parking.
- Seriously. We have bacon fries.
