As a Project Manager, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture – namely, how can technology help achieve business goals – as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources, and build and incentivize high-performing teams.
Graphite is the firm’s strategic payment platform for high and low value payments. It is a multi-year program with the aim of decommissioning a number of legacy systems. Working with our Graphite technology component teams, partner applications and testing teams, you’ll help to drive the projects forward, ensuring the clarity of the schedule and scope, managing risks and issues, and communicating status to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be partner with Graphite technology, product and operations teams to:
- Organise project delivery in line with portfolio and project priorities
- Partner with business analysts, product and operations to ensure that scope is clear
- Partner with external applications to align timelines with project requirements
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks and issues
- Maintain a project schedule for current and upcoming delivery
- Track and report status in programme level forums
- Be commercially aware and mindful of the business value of everything we do
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
- Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
- An effective communicator with technical and business audiences
- Ability to work independently, own issues to resolution and be self-motivated to achieve the best results for clients
