About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Civil Project Engineer to join the integrated joint venture team on the DDP Framework at Sellafield – i3 Decommissioning Partners
The main goal of this framework is to assist in the decommissioning of the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of four legacy waste plants prioritised for clean-up by Sellafield Ltd’s owner, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).
As a Project Engineer you will be required to plan and manage a wide range of civil works within the scope of the framework
The role will require:
- Management of a team of civil resource and of various subcontractors where necessary
- Planning works to coordinate with other tasks on the facility and meet/set client expectations
- Production of risk assessments and other safety related documentation as well as Technical Queries and other quality documentation
- Input to task quality plans and production/sign off and inspection of inspection reports as well as completion red lined drawings
- Purchase of materials and equipment
- Experience of fulfilling a civil project engineer role (or similar) on Construction projects (including groundworks and concrete pours)
- Previous experience of project delivery in a regulated Industry
