ADMIMISTRATION ASSISTANT
1 year secondment or 1 year temporary contract
SALARY: Grade 6 (£24,054)
The Central South Consortium, comprising the five Local Authorities of Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and Vale of Glamorgan, is working in partnership to deliver ambitious arrangements for school improvement through the Central South Wales Challenge. Collectively with our schools, we are determined that all children and young people, in every school, will experience the best possible conditions in which to realise their potential and that we close the gap between the most disadvantaged pupils and their peers.
We require an experienced Administration Assistant to join our busy Business Support Team. The successful candidate will be expected to provide effective admin support, in accordance with our Business Plan and senior management instruction. In addition, you will be required to provide support to the finance team to maintain and process accurate, and timely financial management information in compliance with all financial and procurement regulations. The nature of the role requires the candidate to be proactive in order to cope with several tasks simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines.
