FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade G, £32,909 rising to a maximum of £35,411 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, full time
Contract Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday

About the role
Reach South is looking for an experienced Projects and Programmes Manager to primarily be involved in the project management of schools joining the Trust; either through conversion, transfer or as part of a DfE Free Schools programme, in addition to supporting a programme of school maintenance and minor works projects. The postholder will also coordinate programmes to assist the Executive Team with the delivery of the Trust’s strategic objectives.
About the successful candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced Projects and Programmes Manager with education sector experience or will be eager to apply their skills and knowledge to the education sector. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with stakeholders to deliver projects and will:
- Have analytical and judgmental skills required to interpret varied and complex information or situations
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to negotiate, advise and lead
- Identify issues in complex problems, clarify understanding or stakeholder expectations, to seek the best option
- Have a track record for delivery
- Have an aptitude for seeing the wider picture and strategic thinking to deliver the desired benefits
About the Trust
Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 16 academies in Devon, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
