This is a fantastic opportunity to join the progressive and innovative therapy team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. Here we support you throughout your rotations providing you with excellent opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of therapy settings culminating in rotations in our more specialised departments such as Stroke, Paediatrics, Spinal Rehabilitation, Burns and Plastics and the unique Wessex Rehabilitation, the only intensive MSK rehabilitation centre in the South of England.
As part of the Band 5 intake you will have the opportunity to access a mentor and a coach. Our preceptorship scheme will provide an excellent grounding in therapy services.
The post holder will provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings (including orthopaedics, acute medicine, surgery and critical care, medicine for older persons, burns and plastic surgery, spinal injuries centre, stroke, paediatrics, MSK outpatients and Wessex rehabilitation centre).
The post holder will work within their professional code of practice and guidelines.
