Position Summary
Under Armour is looking for a temporary (maternity leave cover) Professional, Digital Channel Marketing to service the JD Sports account. The position reports to the Channel Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a record of implementing effective omni channel retail marketing campaigns. The teammate will be expected to bring new ideas to the table with regards to campaigns and input into creative briefs. The position will be tasked with assisting in the execution of major brand initiatives and account marketing initiatives specifically designed to attract, engage, & drive sell through via online channels & in-store digital touchpoints. The teammate will be working on plans that enhance the Under Armour brand equity whilst delivering upon the specific needs of the JD Sports retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive outlook, and will be confident to look at how to improve our activations and processes to keep up with consumer demand and a changing retail and digital landscape.
Please note that this is a fully remote position for the duration of 10 months.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in building & executing effective account marketing plans aligned with European Brand/category/retail marketing strategy and account business plans, with a focus on digital channels.
- Drive sell-through of UA product via JD online channels through the execution of bespoke channel marketing initiatives.
- Work with the Channel Marketing Manager to create, manage and deliver seasonal campaigns according to the strategic account marketing activity calendar.
- Manage how campaign content appears via digital channels, with a particular focus on social media.
- Work with the Channel Marketing Manager on paid digital media plans.
- Manage outside agency and vendor relationships related to execution of account marketing plans.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Ability to develop and maintain solid relationships with 3rd party strategic account teams.
- Strong understanding of the cross functional marketing communications mix.
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Team player with a passion for sports and-or fashion and have the desire to cross the line in first place delivering executional excellence. Loves being part of a team, both leading and serving; demonstrated deep commitment to colleagues; highly effective in a matrix environment.

- Regular travel is required to the Manchester area for bi-weekly meetings
- Some travel is required to the rest of the UK, and the EMEA HQ in Amsterdam
Education And / Or Experience
include but are not limited to the following:
- 2-3 years of experience, proven track record in retail or digital marketing.
- Sporting goods / lifestyle brands experience is beneficial but not critical.
- Proven fluent communication skills in coordinating international agencies/vendors.
