Your role
1. To ensure the integrity of, and compliance with, the company’s procedures for the management of stock and cash
2. To support company management to deliver wet and food GPs
3. To audit operational processes, including health and safety and energy management procedures, to ensure consistent compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To undertake wet and food stocks at every site to a schedule agreed with senior management.
2. To write up action plans at the end of each stock visit to further improve performance and to communicate these to house managers and relevant senior managers within the business.
3. To follow up on the above action plans to ensure house compliance and communicate any non-compliance to senior management.
4. To undertake cash checks alongside every stocktake.
5. To manage all price changes and new product pricing ensuring it is accurate and timely.
6. To oversee pricing of new menus and new dishes to ensure that these are accurate and reflect budget GP targets.
7. To work with senior management to enhance food stock reporting to identify key drivers of performance eg. GP by dish, stock losses/gains by key ingredient etc
8. To undertake interim key line audits as agreed to address particular stock issues by site.
9. To undertake formal audits of operational policies as directed by senior management including, but not limited to, health and safety procedures and energy saving policies and to write up action plans arising.
10. To follow up on the above action plans to ensure house compliance and communicate any non-compliance to senior management.
11. To manage the company’s Shield health and safety management system to maximise compliance at all times at all sites.
12. To objectively review marketing initiatives and events to assess their ROI and make recommendations for future activity.
13. To manage the companies EPOS systems
14. To undertake other work as directed by senior management to support the business.
15. To personally comply with all company health and safety policies.
