A fantastic opportunity to join a world leading provider who are a vital link in the manufacturing supply chain, employing 4,500 people in 22 different countries!

Vibe Recruit's client operates an international network of facilities serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive, power generation, oil & gas, construction, machine building medical and transportation.

They have an opportunity for a Production Operator to join their team based out of the Knowsley depot, on a full time, permanent contract.

A fantastic package is on offer for this role:

  • Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
  • Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
  • Life Assurance - 2 x annual salary rising to 4 x if join Company pension

Main responsibilities:

  • Production process operations processing customer manufactured parts
  • Ensure that components are processed according to the quality standards / process documents for each application
  • To gain a thorough understanding, through training provided and experience, of the factors that affect coating quality and be able to use that knowledge to ensure components are processed to approved methods
  • Good housekeeping of own work area and contribute to the 5S improvements of the working environment.
  • Become familiar with the "check-work-check" process and be committed to a "right first time" approach to all tasks carried out.
  • To enable the company to meet its own legal duties and to report any hazardous situations or defective equipment.
  • Wear personal protective equipment provided by the company

The ideal candidate with have a processing or manufacturing background and the ability to read engineering instructions and measurement techniques, however training will be provided for the specific tasks required for this role and anyone who can evidence an aptitude for this type of role and is keen to develop new skills will be considered.
