Job Title: Delivery Driver

Job Summary: We are a small company that distributes food service and janitorial supplies, and we are seeking a dedicated and career-minded individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a box truck to make deliveries to our customers, while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. This role requires the ability to lift up to 60lbs, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a box truck to make deliveries to customers
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Maintain accurate delivery records and log books
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle
• Communicate with dispatch and logistics team to ensure on-time delivery
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations
• Loading and unloading of the vehicle, which may require lifting up to 60lbs
• Ability to use GPS and other navigation tools
• Communicate with customers to provide exceptional service
• Follow all safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• 3 years of box truck driving experience
• Experience using a pallet jack and hand truck
• Strong knowledge of local roads and highways
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to work in a small team environment

Salary is dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Day range:

• Monday to Friday

Experience level:

• 3 years

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Driving: 3 years (Preferred)
• Box trucks: 3 years (Required)
