PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Address: Bayton Road Industrial Estate, Bedworth Plant, Exhall, Coventry CV7 9EJFree parking onsite.
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days and nights. (rotating block of 4 weeks on days and 4 weeks on nights)
Role Summary
BMI UK&I have a permanent opportunity for a Production Operator to join the team.
Reporting to the Production Team Lead, this role is based in Bedworth.
You’ll work closely and collaborate with the team being responsible for all areas of the tile manufacturing process and ensuring that our products are made to the highest quality standards.
You’ll directly contribute to and support the overall performance of the Plant by playing a vital role in achieving the daily production volume targets.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a team within a fast paced/busy working environment.
As the Production Operator, your key responsibilities will be:
Operating and maintaining Production line machinery, equipment and mobile plant
Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness by taking full ownership of your working area
Regular quality control monitoring and recording through both visual and physical inspection of products
Identification and safe resolution of Breakdowns and quality issues in partnership with the Maintenance team
Proactively report safety and quality issues as soon as they are discovered
Adhering to Health and safety policies and procedures at all times
As the Production Operator, your key skills and experience will include:
Ability to priortise
Basic Maths and English skills
Good standard of verbal communication
A dependable team player
