Job description
Reports to Engineering Manager
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a minimum BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent proven experience in similar type industry for 2-5 years minimum.
Some work experience in complex manufacturing process time and documentation is very helpful. Management and interpersonal skills are necessary. Very strong ability to monitor any process stage status in the any form of internal and external communication. This position requires advanced skills and proficiency in the use of various software as “OGP” Inspection System, “Power Point”, Microsoft Management” and some 3D Solid Modeling as Solid Works. Some experience in tool and mold making process or design a plus.
Some knowledge or ability to learn new manufacturing / management practice as TQM, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, ISO, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, statistics. Strong knowledge of basic metrology required.
Self motivated with ability to manage workload under pressure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position requires to follow all responsibility as per departmental description procedures for Manufacturing Engineering Department.
Primary responsibility includes hands- on in manufacturing process study and improvements, help in product start up and implementation ( including OGP inspection as require) some the management status report for new projects including development of documentation as APQP, Control Plans, PPAP, Manufacturing Process Books, visual aids, design of some simple manufacturing fixtures and gages etc
