Due to maternity leave, we are looking to recruit two TEMPORARY Production Operatives within our busy production team, starting as soon as possible with one fixed term end date of 28/04/2023 and the other 26/05/2023
Job description: Production Operative - temporary - fixed term only
Assembly of precision sealing products in a semi-automated environment and manufacture of mechanical seals.
Objectives, Responsibilities and Tasks
Day-to-day tasks include:
- operating production line equipment
- assembling goods on a production line
- reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
- finishing products to company standards
- monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks
- accurately completing production records

The role will be varying with the operative learning all the processes of production, this will include; manual skills, machine operation and inspection.

Experience;
- Experience in a Production environment is advantageous but not essential
- Required education: GCSE or equivalent

Normal Working Hours: 08.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 08.30am – 4pm Friday, with flexibility for shift working
