ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the Production Operative is to support the Production Manager in the manufacture, packing and assembly of Armstrong Medical Products. This role is to follow a continental shift pattern.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Accurate completion of works orders in accordance with the Device Master Record.
- Operating machines in accordance with Operating Procedures.
- Carrying out accurate stock checks of raw materials, including notification of shortages to Department Manager.
- Correct identification of all finished goods and raw materials both pre and post production
- Monitoring quality of all work in progress as well as finished goods.
- Reporting issues liable to prevent the smooth and efficient running of the department to the management.
- Assisting the Shift Leader or Department Manager with cleaning of plant and machinery and general housekeeping.
- Work within the guidelines set by Quality System at all times including input of accurate data into Production Records.
- Picking and packing product in line with the device master record

- Previous manufacturing experience

- Experience working with automated lines and product inspection
- Experience in carrying out quality checks
