Factory Production Operative: Monday - Wednesday Nights
Production Operator roles are now available as our business is growing!
As a Production Operative you will operate the plant in accordance with stated procedure and ensure that production plans are met and to carry out tasks in the Factory as required.
The work takes place in a factory on a production line and involves manual work. Post-holders spend considerable periods of time standing while operating machinery and are required to wear protective clothing, such as overalls and safety shoes, which are provided.
Previous experience in a production and/or warehouse environment is essential and familiarity with food production is desirable, however training will be provided.
Shift: Full Time, 39 hours per week
Hours of Work: Monday - Wednesday 1800-0600 + one Sunday clean (12 hours) every fourth week
Salary: £10.67. With a focus on internal career progression, hourly pay can increase up to £12.21 per hour.
Premium: Employees will receive a 10% shift premium on top of base pay due to working unsocial hours.
The successful applicant will have the following knowledge/Skills:
- Have good practical skills, who works quickly and accurately
- Have basic numeracy and English Language skills and will be able to follow safety and hygiene instructions
- Concentrate while doing repetitive tasks for long periods
- Follow instructions
- Be willing to work flexibly
- Have good team-working skills
