ABOUT THE JOB
The purpose of this role is to participate in a nationally co-ordinated Productions Remodelling Project designed to dispose of items held in Police Scotland Production Stores that are designated for release.
Main role responsibilities will include:
Identifying, recording and transporting designated articles and assisting in the achievement of the project goals.
Ensuring that all productions are identified, recorded and disposed of in accordance with Force procedures.
Ensuring that all productions are securely stored and maintained in the condition in which they were seized until destroyed or otherwise disposed of.
To uplift and convey productions and found property between stores and disposal sites, arranging transportation as required.
ABOUT YOU
You will be educated to SQA Higher Grade or equivalent plus relevant administrative/clerical experience in an office environment. Or, where no formal qualifications exist, proven relevant administrative/clerical experience in an office environment. A driving licence is essential.
This full time post is 12 month Fixed Term Contract and will require Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. Part time hours may be considered.
