OVERVIEW
An integral part of the media team, the paid social media specialist will ensure the successful paid media support of content being posted to client platforms as well as manage all ad formats being run through social media platforms.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Media Campaigns
- Make budget recommendations for media plans and media plan proposals for clients showcasing KPIs to determine success for B2C, B2B, Pharma brands.
- Actively develop paid social strategies to support overall media plan and client program objectives
- Develop and execute campaigns to run on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and others
- Organise creative requirements for execution and share with creative team
- Gather campaign elements for set-up (banners, tracking, etc)
- Deploy/upload/traffic the campaigns within the ad platforms
- Liaise with representatives from the social media platforms
- Monitor campaign performance on a daily basis
- Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve performance of campaigns
- Develop and implement testing strategies to drive continuous improvement (creative, landing page, audience segments/profiles, etc)
- Work with social content and other paid media team members to ensure strategies are aligned across all channels
- Support clients and team members on other paid media initiatives when departmental needs arise
- Implement social e-commerce programs (Facebook Commerce Manager, TikTok Shopping)
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Responsible for proper and effective tracking implementation (Facebook pixel, Tiktok pixel)
- Ensure accuracy of data for campaign and project reports, including metrics such as CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROI, CPE
- Participate in ongoing reporting of media campaign performance
- Provide insights into and recommended action items based on campaign performance
- Participate in the development of best practice guidelines for related service offers
Innovation
- Propose innovative service offerings within the realm of social media advertising
- Propose innovative optimization strategies for client campaigns
- Identify tools to facilitate optimization measures
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Experience managing paid media campaigns, with a focus on paid social - experience with Pharma clients a plus
- Expert understanding of Facebook Ads Manager including pixel and custom event management
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and Twitter ad platforms
- Experience developing and implementing performance tests and developing recommendations based on results
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
- Active interest in keeping up with social and paid media trends
- Great communication skills to be able explain complex concepts clearly and efficiently, as well as give consultative advice to help clients grow
