Location: Marden, Kent.
Salary: £23-26K dependant on experience.
Hours: 40hrs, Monday – Friday (8:30 to 5:00)
Contract: Full time, Permanent.

Due to the ongoing success of the company, we have recently opened a new factory. With this new manufacturing facility in Marden, Kent fully equipped with the latest machinery and technology we are able to provide our customers with the highest level of quality, cost and delivery.
As part of this exciting new chapter in Trade Oak’s progression we are currently looking for an experienced Production Assistant / Scheduler to join our team. The new position is to be accountable for the day-to-day planning and administration of production materials, production orders and deliveries.
About the role – Production Assistant / Scheduler:
You, will have a understanding and knowledge of production operations and a background in a manufacturing environment.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Support the Production Manager in daily production duties and tasks.
- Be responsible for the administration of the production process to delivery.
- Raise, Plan and Schedule production works orders to meet manufacturing due dates.
- Order material purchasing requirements in line with production orders.
- Perform inventory checks and report stock status to the Production Manager.
- Plan and book customer deliveries and frame site fittings.
- Ensure that production is completed in line with customer delivery due dates.
- Schedule and plan frame fittings with the fitting team and customers.
- Support process improvements to improve workflow efficiency.
- Be hands-on in the factory shop floor supporting operations requirements.
- Communicate production progress and /or errors to the Production Manager.
- Have an active part in quality control throughout the production process.
- Update the Production Manager on the status of production progress.
- Liaise and coordinate production with sales and design departments.

Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
