About us
CRD Devices Group are an engineering and distribution Company based in Shildon, Co Durham. We are a leading supplier of linear bearings, rail and actuators to customers in the UK and around the world. We are a small team of staff looking to expand and grow our office team to support our busy fast paced business.
Summary
The role is to support and develop the sales, marketing and business development processes. It will initially involve looking at the production of our marketing materials, website, social media and partner events and will also include initiating sales with potential customers over the phone.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
· Assist the sales director with partner and end customer sales activity
· Follow up sales and business development opportunities
· Listening and understanding customers’ needs to generate repeat sales
· Keeping up to date on all products and informing customers of new products
· Updating the Company CRM with all activities: gathering and documenting customer information, purchases and reactions to products
· Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures, social media
· May include providing administrative support at trade exhibitions
· Maintaining ISO 9001 documentation
· Assist in other areas of the business such as Finance and Sales Office which may include:
o Entering and processing supplier invoices in line with internal procedures using SAGE
o Generating monthly legislative reports i.e. customer statements
o Chasing overdue debts on the sales ledger
o Complete monthly Bank reconciliation
o Provide admin support to the office and resolve administrative queries and enquiries
o Answering the office phone
· Observe health and safety guidelines at all times
· Any other reasonable duties as necessary

· Personable manner, team-player and adaptability are all important
· Organisational skills: you will be working on multiple projects and need to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
· Excellent written and oral skills: required for proof-reading posts, news releases, website content, emails and over the phone.
· The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
· IT Skills: MS Office packages and, ideally, in graphic tools such as Adobe, Publisher & video editing software, SAGE 50 experience desirable but not essential
Starting Salary: Depending on experience, £20,319 , 6 months review
