Product Photographer

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Job responsibilities

As a creative Product Photographer you will bring briefs to life using camera and lighting techniques that showcase Draper Tools. You will produce brand focused photography content that will be used across all marketing channels. This will range from ecommerce product photography, to engaging lifestyle imagery and internal communications.

Working closely with our Senior Photographer, you will:

  • Photograph new and existing product for ecommerce product pages
  • Produce lifestyle photography that can be used to build brand awareness and drive sales
  • Produce visual content for our communication channels, bringing briefs to life across the full mix of marketing tactics and channels, including advertising, campaigns, internal comms, product launches and promotions
  • Research and keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends to ensure your approach to visual media remains relevant
  • Coordinate location shoots, including booking studios, models and team resource in order to deliver to requirements
  • Carry out administrative tasks to include maintaining DAM to ensure timely upload and storage of all visual content, monitor and track your jobs through workfront and occasionally use internal systems to order and return products
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure shoot planning is in line with business priorities and external messaging
  • Retouch, resize and enhance images as per company brand guidelines

Skills required

  • Thorough understanding of DLSR & Mirrorless camera systems. Advantageous to understand Phase One medium format equipment
  • Proficient working knowledge of editing and organising workflows in Capture One
  • Familiar working within Mac OS
  • Good understanding of Photoshop techniques to assist in image editing
  • Strong awareness of project timelines and final deliverables
  • Able to bring briefs to life and produce imagery that is both on brand and impactful
  • Team player
  • Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships (internal and external)
  • Positive outlook, open to change
  • A full driving license
