The team
We work with 3rd party producers within ITV Studios and 3rd parties extending to over 200 production companies in 30+ territories. We acquire and distribute globally over 90,000 catalogue hours of Films and TV Shows of all genres. We sell content to linear broadcast, streaming services and channels.
We also produce some of the world's most popular formats where local versions are made around the world including The Voice, Love Island, Hell's Kitchen and I'm A Celebrity. We monetise these formats via brand licensing and merchandising and digital and social platforms.
This role will be helping support all the technology platforms and business processes that enable our Sales teams to manage their client relationships and maximise the value of our content globally.
The role
- Varying between project work and more business as usual. Mixture of meeting commitments and doing the work which will mainly be detailing processes and writing documentation
- Understanding and documenting business processes
- Providing business process and data flow analysis to new and in-flight projects
- Understanding, documenting, prioritising and communicating business requirements, liaising with stakeholders.
- Analysing data models and data flow across multiple systems and business units, documenting the current data landscape and identifying duplication, inefficiency and the potential for consolidation or improvement.
- Assessing and understanding software system interactions and the potential for improved data exchange, outlining possibilities and benefits.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (all applications and particularly Excel)
- Candidate must be “process driven” interested in how business processes work and how teams will be using technology to support
- Tech savvy – a natural curiosity in and aptitude for learning new business applications
- Strong eye for detail
- Good problem solver
- Able to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- An interest in media and technology
- Scoring at least 9/10 through the multiple choice application questions
- Descriptive and an originality portrayed within the set application questions
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- A clear understanding & passion for the apprenticeship role you are applying for as well as ITV
- Have a willingness to learn new skills with the appropriate training
- Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude
- Good understanding of how to use technology in an office environment for example use of the Google suite, zoom
- You will be friendly and approachable, respectful to all of your ITV colleagues
- You’ll have the ability to maintain a positive attitude, even when under pressure and working to deadlines
Eligibility/Entry Criteria
As this is a Level 4 Apprenticeship, we require you to have/be predicted to achieve the below qualifications:
A Level (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) C or above in at least 1 subject and GCSE Grades (or equivalent) C/4 or above in English and Maths plus 2 other subjects.
There is no upper age limit to an Apprenticeship, we would encourage applications from anyone leaving school, all the way to looking for a career change. Please see below to check you meet the eligibility criteria:
- You have lived within the UK/EEA for a minimum of 3 years consecutively
- You meet the entry criteria for the apprenticeship as listed above
- You have not completed a degree/same level qualification in a similar subject to the role you are applying for
- You cannot have achieved the qualification already and you must not already be in full time education at the point of enrolment
