Job Description
  • Provide thought leadership based on experience with insurance and reinsurance terms, data coding challenges and risk modeling needs of the industry.
  • Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market. Assess their strengths and weaknesses. Develop a strategy for winning against the competition.
  • Demonstrations, presentations and discussions with clients.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps, ideate on product definition, create feature overviews and help with design, development and quality of products.
  • Define pre-launch, post-launch and go to market phases and lead conversations on licensing, pricing, deployment for the initiative, function or product as needed.
  • Advocate for best product management practices and process improvements.

Qualifications
  • At least 7 years working in leadership role in catastrophe modeling workflows, strong actuarial background, ideally in different insurance/reinsurance companies or catastrophe modeling vendors.
  • Strong understanding of insurance and/or reinsurance industry, particularly the use of catastrophe risk models.
  • Proven ability to guide global teams and answer technical questions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to dig into details and understand the big picture.
  • Willing to build expertise in all areas of product development: from domain, business, technology to design, from discovery and delivery to marketing and analytics.
