The Multi-platform Assistant Producer is part of the NBCU Catalyst Content Studio. They will support the wider team to ensure production work and broader Catalyst sales creative projects are delivered to both client and sales-team KPIs as well as meeting all external and internal regulatory / compliance requirements (legal and editorial). The role will have client, agency, sales and third-party facing elements. It will work closely with all functions of the Catalyst team – content, brand and creative strategy, events and experiences.
The Multi-platform Assistant Producer role will have a focus on digital production and all that involves (including video) but include work across all platforms and products – including short and long form video, digital articles, ads, social videos, traffic drivers, HPTOs etc. Experience in digital delivery is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that all assets are developed, produced and delivered, per the technical specifications and ensures any issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Working closely with the Creative design and development team to plan campaign timelines and executions. Takes full accountability for ensuring that client assets are supplied on time and any changes to schedules are communicated clearly to all parties.
- Engaging freelancers, including writers, field producers, and outside 3rd party production companies.
- Liaise with various departments (accounts team, media planners) and maintain strong working relationships with them to ensure adherence and smooth implementation of workflow process including updating Monday.com and other system trackers.
- Maintains strong understanding of clients and the creative skills necessary for each campaign project.
- Familiarize with company’s media and digital offerings (on-air, online, on-ground, social and beyond).
Qualifications
Experience in multi-platform production in digital production house or commercial broadcast environment.- Understanding of the technical specifications required for creative work developed for digital and social media.
- Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and the business.
- Extremely well-organised, with excellent time management skills.
- Highly numerate and able to manage production / project budgets.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and effectively prioritise workload.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to identify and implement changes to improve process.
- Computer-literate (MS Office, and beyond). Familiarity with project management software would be advantageous.
- A high level of written and verbal communication.
