Where does this role fit within stika.co’s team?
Reporting into the Operations Director, this role will undertake the print production process across all functions, including CAD/CAM but not limited to manufacturing printed products and gifts using flatbed UV printers and laser cutters. The Print Production Associate will lead the smooth running of the critical production process at our Weymouth based production facility.
Main Responsibilities
- To execute the production facility
- maintain all the equipment to a schedule
- checking the accuracy and viability of the product specification
- adapting computer systems to meet the requirements of the work
- monitoring and maintaining the quality of the orders
- liaising with a customer service representative to discuss time or process setbacks
- keeping contact with customers to ensure artwork specifications are carried out
- complying with health and safety standards and workplace legislation
- documentation of processes and procedures to assist with future training and development
- recommending changes and improvements to improve processes and cost-efficiency.

- Safely operate and maintain the following printing and finishing equipment including:
- Roland LEC Flatbed UV printing press
- GCC Laser Engraver/Cutter
- HP Latex Large Format substrate printer and Summa flexible roll-fed substrate cutter
- Prepare products for inbound warehouse inventory shipments - following set procedures
- Ensuring a safe, clean and tidy working environment

- Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines
- Computer literate with knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
- Proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Onyx Postershop & VersaWorks raster image processors and calibration of media is beneficial

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
