We are hiring a Policy & Consulting Specialist!
Location: Ruislip, London
Position statement
To act as CWM’s Policy Expert, provide policy benchmarking and policy advice to our clients, as well as act as the point of liaison between Account Management and Business Development Teams and the Consulting Practice/External PR Agency/Marketing team, with a view to communicating issues of concern or interest to our clients and potential clients to facilitate production of Thought Leadership content and to assist with the production of this content.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as Crown’s policy expert, in conjunction with Consulting Lead. Conduct client policy related discussions to provide insight and advice around what’s happening in the market. Be aware of existing policies held in the Analyser tool to be able to provide high level benchmarking guidance. Produce proposals for in depth Consulting work where requested and price in line with pricing structure
· Where Proposals are accepted, carry out full policy benchmarking, design or advice projects on behalf of clients, or produce reports from the Policy Analyser Tool or implement the Interactive Policy Guide, as appropriate
· Review existing policy capability and options and make recommendations for improvement (off the shelf advice, off the shelf review pricing, etc)
· Primary responsibility for the Policy Analyser Tool and Interactive Policy Guide. Develop in depth knowledge of how these tools work, be able to present to clients confidently about the tools and keep them updated with regular audits and reviews. Liaise with internal Account Management Teams to ensure the Policy Analyser Tool is up to date with most recent client policies periodically.
· Participation in RFPs as Crown’s Consulting Expert
· Acting as the conduit between AM and BD teams and Consulting. Developing strong relationships with these teams and holding monthly calls to discuss hot topics in the market and garner client feedback on issues of concern or interest
· Passing this feedback through to Consulting Lead, External PR Agency and Marketing to review the potential for Thought Leadership content. Proposing ideas for content, and taking the lead where the green light is given to work with all parties to create content – co-ordinating or conducting interviews, podcasts, writing articles etc as appropriate
· Working with our External PR Agency and Marketing teams to assess and track impact of all published Thought Leadership content and proposing alternative directions/ideas where appropriate to maximise our impact in the market
· Support with any ad hoc Consulting projects as appropriate
· Track and manage Consulting revenue and make recommendations for revenue increase to Consulting Lead
Professional Knowledge & Skills
· Demonstrated expertise in global mobility policy either gained through an in house policy role or via a Consulting Firm
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
· Well-developed administration and organisation skills with strong attention to detail
· Comfort with technology and the ability to manage technology solutions (such as the Interactive Policy Guide)
· Strong communication and presentation skills. Comfortable with public and group speaking.
· Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
· Ideally 8 years industry experience & at least three years in a policy role.
