We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and well organised individual with extensive knowledge of administrative, secretarial procedures and systems. You will need an interest and flair for work within the area of education and staff development as this role will support our education and development programme across occupational therapy services within ABUHB.
Essential skills required for this post include excellent knowledge and understanding of a range of Microsoft office applications. The post holder will need to effectively prioritise workloads, manage time, build and maintain relationships. Effectively communicate in verbal and written formats , while the ability to manage multiple demands is a vital part of the role. The role will form part of a wider occupational therapy team therefore working collaboratively and supporting team working will be critical.

This unique role will play a crucial part in managing the administration activities for a range of education and development workstreams, which will involve both reactive and proactive support. These workstreams include but are not limited to;
- Occupational therapy practice placement education
- Support worker education
- The in-house Occupational Therapy training programme
- Occupational therapy band 5 rotation
- Occupational therapy HEIW funding applications for MSc level study

This position is for 30 hrs, based at St Cadocs Hospital in Caerleon over 4 or 5 days.
At times there will be some requirement to travel to different sites throughout the health board.
