Perhaps you are looking for a part time evening job? Well, we have a fabulous opportunity to work within our operation at Warwick Castle. You would be based in one of our restaurants working alongside our amazing team of chefs and cooks.
The Role
In this role you'll help to ensure that the facilities in our kitchens are maintained to the highest standards. We need people to help keep the strictest levels of cleanliness in the food preparation areas, by working closely with all of the Chefs in our busy kitchens.
Working straight shifts on a rota basis, the role offers excellent prospects for those interested in a career as a Chef or any other aspect of the catering industry. We proactively seek to develop all of our employees who show promise.
Our starting hourly pay rates for this role are U21 - £6.97, 21-23- £9.18, and 23+ £9.50.
Shifts will generally be between 4 and 8 hours.
Due to the nature of our business, shifts will vary from early, daytime and late shifts and will include bank holidays.
As we are are a seasonal attraction this role will initially be available until January 2024.
Job responsibilities and benefits
Your main responsibilities will include
Supporting chefs with basic food preparation. This may involve cutting, peeling and washing food items
Keeping the kitchen clean and providing a safe working environment for all
Preparing the kitchen area prior to service
Supporting with deliveries and making sure stock is tidy
Working as part of a team to ensure the operation runs smoothly
Washing and cleaning dishes
