What part will you play?
This role is responsible for the ongoing implementation and improvement of the PMO and PM operations that support the management of the Networks Business Unit (BU) delivery Programme.
Main areas of responsibility are:
- Implementing PM and PMO guidelines and processes and managing respective functional organisation.
- Administering and ensuring adherence of PM policies, guidelines, programs and standards.
- Coordinating and deciding upcoming resource requests for projects, to optimise staff utilisation.
- Preparing and contributing to contractual matters, with external parties (i.e. vendors, clients).
- Analysing workflow environment and proposes improvements in project operations.
- Ensuring effective cooperation with stakeholders; clarifies organisational issues.
This role is focused on the business unit delivery programme with responsibility for the adherence to PM standards, polices and processes and resource planning. The role demands the ability to engage with external and internal stakeholders.
The role requires knowledge of working within a P30 Structured PMO
The role requires knowledge of the tools and techniques required for Portfolio, Programme and Change Delivery & Governance in adherence to P30
The role requires strong change orientated influence skills and the ability to work as part of the wider PM and BU delivery community
Intercultural
Proven experience of working with 3rd parties/external vendors. Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation.
Strong background in delivery methodologies (e.g. construction, manufacturing)
