Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an experienced Heating And Plumbing Specialist to work for a successful builder’s merchant in Staffordshire. Our client is looking for someone who is customer service focused, highly motivated and keen to succeed.

A starting salary of circa £30,000 and additional benefits. The salary is negotiable and our client is willing to discuss salary with the right candidate.

The Role:

• Managing the plumbing and heating department of the business.

• Working closely with other team members to ensure that the department is run successfully.

• Working with other departments to grow the business.

• Highlighting and implementing new processes when required.

• Providing excellent customer service at all times.

• Guiding customers through the range of products.

• Continuing to learn the industry and keep up to date with commercial changes.

• Working with customers throughout the entire process.

• Proactively developing relationships with clients, customers, and internal staff.

• Providing product advice, support, and knowledge.

• Dealing with queries over the phone, in person and via email.

The Candidate:

• Proven experience within management.

• Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry.

• Previous experience within a customer facing role.

• Someone who takes pride in themselves and their work.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Self-motivated, keen, and hard working.

• Energetic, welcoming, and friendly.

This is a permanent role, working five out of seven days, including Saturdays. Working hours are between 7am-5pm in the week and 8am-12pm on Saturdays.
