Multi Trades Recruitment are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CCEP Uxbridge. As a key member of the Site Maintenance Team, you will provide hands-on support and contribute to the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.

- 6.00am - 14.00pm / 11:00 - 19:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, including adherence to the Permit to Work system and conducting contractor reviews.
- Foster a safety culture within the team and complete mandatory training.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with both the EQUANS site base team and CCEP employees.
- Identify and deliver innovative ideas to improve service quality and reduce costs.
- Assist in the planning and management of the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring timely completion of work tasks.
- Carry out both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities according to contract requirements and company competency appointments.
- Supervise specialist sub-contractors and report any issues to the Site Supervisor.
- Identify obsolete equipment and contribute to the forward maintenance plan and asset register updates.
- Explore opportunities for self-delivery of sub-contracted maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
- Conduct water hygiene checks, general plumbing tasks, emergency lighting checks, and other PPM activities.
- Perform basic electrical tasks based on qualifications and experience.
- Undertake building installation and repairs, as well as maintenance of common areas.
- Manage deliveries, liaise with contractors and suppliers, and control permits as required.
- Respond to reactive breakdowns and contribute to the completion of PPM regimes.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate the ordering process.
- Take meter readings and contribute to energy management initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Plumbing/Mechanical C&G qualification or equivalent (essential).
- Experience in a similar role (essential).
- Building fabric qualifications/experience (advantageous).
- Basic electrical qualifications/experience (advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, COSHH, and water hygiene (L8).
- Familiarity with site technical systems, HVAC, and facilities management services.
- Proficiency in IT business support systems such as SAP and Planon CAFM.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Safety-conscious and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit to perform the required tasks.
