Job Description:
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced plumbers, learning the essential skills and techniques needed to excel in the industry. This hands-on apprenticeship will provide you with invaluable training, and you'll be involved in various plumbing projects, ranging from basic installations to complex repair jobs. The sucessful completion of the apprenticship will lead to a full time permanat job offer with JD Winter Ltd. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting senior plumbers in daily tasks and projects.
- Learning how to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
- Identifying and diagnosing plumbing issues.
- Developing a strong understanding of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a genuine interest in plumbing and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of grade C GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for learning and a desire to pursue a career in plumbing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
- 17 years or older.
- Able to drive (having a valid driving license is preferred).
