What will I be doing?
You'll be leading the Plant and Seed Supply business unit, empowering your team, ensuring high standards are maintained in seed processing, that plant quality quantity and biosecurity assurance targets are met, cost-effectively supplying the tree seedling needs of the organisation. You'll be an advocate for health and safety and will encourage a culture of innovation focused on adding value.

What experience do I need?
You'll have experience managing a large-scale plant nursery and be familiar with the annual production cycle, Plant Healthy certification and quality assurance. Passionate about sustainability, you'll be a talented team leader with an impressive track record of continued professional development, people leadership, business planning and budget management.
Who will I be doing it for?
Managing 1,500 forests across the country covering over 252,000 hectares, they are the largest land managing organisation in England, taking care of everything from great forests to small community woodlands. They plant between 8 and 10 million trees each year and as Head of Plant and Seed Supply you'll be responsible for each one of them.
