Origin is a leading provider of Film and Broadcast equipment rental, engineering and cloud based services to major broadcasters, production companies and studios producing both live and pre-recorded programming around the world.
As part of an exciting expansion and restructuring plan, an opportunity has arisen for a passionate and detail orientated rental co-ordinator to work within our dedicated rental team.
The successful candidate should have an interest in the broadcast/film industry and will be responsible for building and managing excellent client relationships, understanding client requirements, booking equipment and liaising with our technical, engineering and logistics teams to ensure delivery of each and every project to the very highest of standards.
Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Using our rental software (Insphire) to plan and book equipment, engineering time and logistics.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders and other documents.
- Use our bespoke CRM to record, plan and develop new and existing rental opportunities.
- Identifying new business opportunities through regular research and market awareness.
- Liaise with 3rd parties where applicable for purchases and cross-hire’s as needed.
- Maintain situation awareness of all current bookings and client requirements
- Providing support to marketing to help grown the Origin brand.
- Provide information, reports and support to the sales director and senior management team as required to ensure continued growth of the business.
Skills and Requirements
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- A good understanding of MS Office and other modern software applications
- Impeccable time keeping and punctuality.
- Self-motivated and determined.
- A good telephone manor
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Good written communication skills
- The ability to following procedures and policies
- Be comfortable in client/supplier negotiations
The ideal candidate may also have..
- A proven interest in the Film/TV Industry (such as Post Production, Cinematography, Camera work, Broadcast Production etc)
- Sales and / or Customer Service / Customer Care experience
- Experience with a CRM such as SalesForce, Zoho, HubSpot etc
- Photography Skills
