An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Associate Director of Digital Service Informatics who will lead in the delivery and the development of the plans that support the Trust Data Strategy ‘Towards a Data-Driven Organisation’. This is a critical and strategic role which spans the organisation and will also play a part in liaising with external parties with regards to the flow of information.

The post holder will act as the principal conduit, leading on engagement between the trusts, wider healthcare ecosystem stakeholder’s and intelligence delivery and assurance teams. This requires the individual to articulate a clear vision, calling on their experience and knowledge of wider NHS data and information strategies, to drive strategic and operational delivery of Trust’s current and future corporate objectives and requirements of the Trust and its Healthcare Partners in support of and to enable delivery of excellence in clinical services, research, and teaching.

Bethlem Royal Hospital
Bethlem Royal Hospital is based in a beautiful setting in over 200 acres of green space in the London Borough of Bromley, South East London. The hospital has easy access to nearby main roads and have offers free parking. The site is within walking distance from of Eden Park and West Wickham overland stations.

Key Responsibilities:
- To understand, develop and deliver the transformation required as part of the Trust’s approach to becoming a data-driven organisation.
- To develop a communication strategy and plans that will foster and support Trust participation in a ‘data amnesty’ and to work with stakeholders to capture where information in its current form is being created and used.
- To reinstate, own and facilitate the Data Summit meetings, fostering collaboration and understanding between the various system (and information) owners, and driving a culture of service ownership and improvement.
- Data Assurance: to have responsibility for data assurance across the organisation by working with the various stakeholders to implement process checks and validation of data, to determine and develop measures for ‘data completeness. Work with independent audit teams e.g. Information Governance dept and Internal Audit teams to periodically conduct audits and develop plans with stakeholders and system owners to take the necessary action to continuously improve data accuracy and completeness.
