Job description
Our busy marine division gets involved in a multitude of different projects around the UK and Northern Europe, including surveys, offshore energy, towage and supporting marine civil engineering projects.
We continually assess and modernise our extensive fleet of vessels and ensure the highest levels of staff training in order to maintain our excellent record for safety, efficiency and quality.
We are now looking for an experienced deckhand to work on board our pilot boat based in Portsmouth.

Role & Responsibilities:
· Deckhand for Nelson 48/50 pilot boat operating from Portsmouth
· Involved in the safe transfer of pilots to/from ships in the Solent and Portsmouth approaches
· Involved with day-to-day maintenance of the vessel, you will be reporting to the vessel Master
Experience
· Previous pilot boat experience
Minimum qualification:
- STCW short courses (not older than 5 years)
- Valid ENG1
- Fully conversant with ship mooring, equipment and associated rope work
