Our Despatch Operative roles at Samworth Brothers won’t hang about for long. That’s because the people who’ll apply for them are full of energy and lightning quick.

Speed, stamina, and good communication skills are qualities we love here.

A despatch order picker is required to pick & palatise all finished goods ensuring this is carried out efficiently. This involves ensuring all cases are assembled correctly in order of depot departure, pallet labels are correctly placed on the pallet & all the relevant information is scanned onto the pallet. The Picker will also ensure all paperwork is correct, reporting any problems directly to the Despatch Chargehand or Shift Manager. Using SAP. & checking the live system, ensure stock levels are correct and all the relevant information is on the system via SAP Mobile before the pallets are released to the loading team. Ensure paperwork is correct on departing vehicles and deadlines are also always met. Some flexibility around duties is required in order to support with Picking, Packing and box making.
