Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to joint our Stroke ESD team. The successful candidate will work within the Multi-disciplinary stroke team to ensure a seamless transition from hospital to a community based environment in order to continue their rehabilitation at home.
The team covers across Swansea Bay University Health Board, therefore the ability to drive is essential.
The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, highly motivated with excellent communication skills and who can contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the stroke service across the health board.
Provide specialist assessment and treatment of stroke patients, based in a community setting.
Be a pro active member of the multidisciplinary team by engaging in service development, supervision of staff and students.
