Launched in 2019 we already work with the UK's biggest retailers as well as hundreds of regional, indepedent retailers, wholesalers and over 12,000 brands.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for talented engineers who can form an integral part of our fast-growing engineering team. You will be responsible for building out new functionalities and further developing our best-in-class marketplace.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a motivated self-starter, confident working both as part of a cross-functional team and working on your own without constant supervision.

You will be a strong communicator, able to discuss highly technical issues with non - technical team members.

You will be comfortable translating epics and user stories into functional applications.

You will be able to design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

You will help maintain code quality, organization, and automation within the business.

You will be a natural problem solver, able to influence and impact the experience of using our product.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge of Web Technologies, PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • High-level understanding of AWS infrastructure
  • Skill for writing reusable libraries
  • Familiarity with MySQL databases
  • Desire to writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
  • Experience implementing automated testing, unit tests and CI/CD
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools including Git
  • Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10, and wider security considerations
